TLS 0.51.0 Released!

New update for supporters on Patreon or SubscribeStarVersion history updated, you know what to do, etc.

TLS 0.51.0
 - Depending on your decisions, you may be able to unlock a new segment and final state for Eustrin.
 - Aka's personal quest can now be completed.
 - Hilstara has a complete personal quest.
 - The Tower mine has reopened, granting different saves different items. Both regions have been repopulated with a few new fights.
 - Two new scenes, three new affection scenes.
 - Two more scenes that are inaccessible without cheating. Working ahead.
 - If you're still locked out of Ardoheim in Chapter 5, you can now gain access via a payment in Headquarters 1F.
 - If you didn't receive the Crystal of Harmony, it can now be purchased in Ari-Yhilina.
 - If Fheliel's conversation was missed, you can find her in Ryoken.
 - Returning to Wynn's house after the recent transformation will unlock new dialogue (and a new scene).
 - Improved Qum and Megail sex sprites thanks to Decanter.
 - Minor continuity fixes in early content.
 - New Illustrated Scenes: Carina Solo, Altina Blowjob, Megail Doggy, Trin Orgy

This is one of those odd updates, because I know some players won't be able to access the major chunk of new content (Eustrin). However, it also includes some new side quests for everyone, plus a lot of little opportunities to unlock past content you might not have seen. Hopefully there will be something for everyone!

Some of the content in this update I promised literally years ago. So many blog posts ago, somebody asked "Will there be impregnation content?" and I said "Yes, but you'll have to wait a long time." Until now, apparently.

Meanwhile, I have something for those of you waiting! I'm participating in a big bundle of NSFW games that you can find here:
https://itch.io/b/500/lewd-nude-rude-covid-boredom-smasher-bundle

All of the games are 50% off or more, including a couple of mine. There's also a free (or pay what you want) tier, so this is a good opportunity to sample a whole bunch of games!

  1. Impregnation content...

Now I'm itching to know who! XD

Bit sad that only 4 new scenes got illustrations this update but Trin's one of them so I'm really hyped for it. Hopefully Sarai gets her soon even though her first comes much later than the others (pun slightly intended) and there's also Janine and Nalili still to come. XP

    1. Figuring out who is possible from context clues!

If you're expecting more than four or so new scenes per update, you're going to be disappointed; the previous update was the result of many months of work. Annikath can only draw so fast and this isn't her full time job.

    2. Also, it seems that very first (informal) poll of the game has finally arrived to the game.

    3. Yeah, I was still considering the exact political shape of Aram back then, along with a great many other things. Some of those plans are finally reaching their conclusions now!

    4. Reading the poll there was a time when halfings weren't going to be in? WHAT WOULD YARRA HAVE DONE?

    5. Well, four per update isn't that bad. I'm just really excited to see Sarai, Janine, and Nalili's so I might be a tad impatient until I see them. XD

    6. I'm more thanhappy enough with the illustrations on the earlier update, I'm currently a bit into the 3rd arc and I wanted to let some updates stack before continuing, but now thanks to that I think I'm gonna start a whole new save.

  2. Spoiler from the Patron release, it's SimonxAntarion impregnation, something that should have been quite clear from the context clues.

No, I haven't. Searching those names doesn't come up with anything definitive, so link if you have something in mind.

      Undead King : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1_uabfoSCEvjG3ld5E9vsioA8gLHOQ0pA

As Undead King totally disappeared from the web due to the editor going bankrupt, I'm one of the few who possess all the translated chapters. I'm trying since 2 years to get TL groups to continue, but as it's licensed, they fear legal problems,so no luck so far.

  6. Greetings Sierra!

Long time player, (since before the Battle of Yhilin) first time commenter, but I had to voice my excitement at the potential of impregnation content! I'm hoping Janine gets a few heirs, and less lonely in the palace. And Neranda goes back (not in disguise this time) to the Ore-master...

I love how the game evolved from sex and fighting into the realms of power, only to eclipse conventional power altogether so deliciously unexpectedly. Any plans for a sequel? I'm almost sad that we're on Chapter 5 already.

Really, the only things even close to negative points I've come across over the years was my hope that Robin would find a mage or other scholarly lad of her own, (not a fan of incest) and that Janine would be the one to soothe Simon's conscience. Having said that, the Wendis direction is proving quite different from what I thought.

And now for a replay with the new images...

    1. Hello, nice to hear from you! You'll get... at least one of the things you wanted.

The ending of TLS will be definitive, and though there will be some short stories and maybe a side game, there will never be a full sequel outside of jokes. I intend TLS to be a unified, comprehensive experience.

There's quite a bit left to do in the final chapter, though! Plus the postgame dungeon, epilogue, and more tidbits. Rest assured, I'll be bringing everything to its conclusion to the best of my ability!

    2. Your skill being unsurpassed in the surprisingly crowded field of adult RPG creation, I've no doubt that I will appreciate the ending, even if it bittersweet!

I will look forward to the culmination then, and even more so the journeys through the layers of existence to reach it.

  7. Sierra Lee, After much time, I decided to replay the game again from the beginning. Until then I had just played until the end of chapter 3, but this time I played until the end of chapter 4.

Story-wise overall the game is still very interesting, and still keep you interested for many hours. I'm really glad that despite the size of the adventure you were able to keep things fresh and enjoyable. And that is, to me, the hightest praise I can give to a developer, even AAA games, with their huge budget, are unfortunately incapable of getting that praise, in my opinion.

Though that is true, I must say that chapter 4 was the one I liked the least. The main reason is (Spoiler alert) The Tower. I can understand other dimensions and things like that, but the way you dealt with the Tower, broke my suspension of disbelief. To me, that thing and how it operates make no sense at all, and you keep giving so much importance to it, when if fact it doesn't have it, and actually make some plot holes, like the troop teleportation (I won't explain in detail what I think is wrong with it, I will just say you didn't set the rules of teleportion). I understand that you created a soft magic system (without any stabilished rules) instead of a hard magic system (with very clear stabilished rules), it's easier to make it that way, and yes, you can make interesting stories like that, but when taken too far, it breakes the suspension of disbelief for it to offer solutions for the player that aren't considered in the story. The Tower is what happen when you take it too far. It becomes the "anything goes" type of story, and the player can't predict, nor find interesting, the solution offered. Yeah, I really didn't like anything that the game has related to the Tower, fortunately, there was many interesting things in between those sections.

(spoiler alert)The Council of Gawnfall, was brilliant. And if I know anything about gamemaking, it was a hell to make a web of switches and variables like that. Usually stories in RPGs can be changed according to the player choices, but not in a level like this, the church can be split in the middle... and everything in the middle of the game, with means another web of switches and variables to be make with the events from that point onwards, when things liek that happen in other games, it's just at the end, as an epilogue.

(spoiler alert)As a minor complaint, I also didn't like you brought Wendis back. It's like to bring uncle Ben back. It makes characters lose motivation. It's interesting the abomination thing, but it shouldn't be Wendis.

    1. Visual-wise, sorry, but that is problem you had since the beginning. Despite the new Cgs being a considerable quality, and the inclusion of many types of tilesets, also of a considerable quality, the map design and the presentation continues to be the worst weakness of the game. Most of the maps are small and very standard. And I mean it in a gameplay sense too. Frequently I got stuck in place because one of events that moves randomly blocked my only path. The caverns feels unnatural, just a bunch of corridors, there isn't a great joy in the exploration.

Also, the presentation is bad, I mean, really bad. Sorry. But far too many times what you see in the screen doesn't help to show the events. Many cutscenes are just the player, with Simon sprite, stopped on the map while a bunch of people are speaking. Sometimes you get it right, like the first time you go to Zirantia (when all the harem is in the desert and Simon speaks to them), but most times it is just Simon, and that even breakes the story in some ways, for example, when you speak with Eustrin Queen the first time, she gets surprized to see an elf speaks in your group, despite the fact that your sprite already entered and sitted on a chair in front of her. Didn't she noticed an elf acompaning the party? Also those scenes with a black screen and text being shown are far too many in number. That is lack of presentation. Also, Simon and Dargai should have different facesheet and sprite, you never know the difference.

Still on the subject I'd like to ask you... Do you intend to eventually change the presentation of the sex-scenes to the industry standard (image behind and textbox below during the entire scene) or just leave as it is now?

    2. Gameplay-wise, it's so-so, you don't try to push the dungeon crawing too much, but there are still some enemy skills that if you aren't prepared they kill you in one turn. Also considering the far reaching consequences of your choices, and the lack of information of such, TLS can easily be considered a walkthrough game. I can't imagine how bad my first playthrough would be without one. So I'd really suggest you give more information to the player about his actions, like expectable profits for example, The Lustlord Temple looks like a great investiment, but in the end its revenue was ridiculous, it does help in the Council, but the player should have more info about that.

Dispite my criticisms, I still like the game. I doubt you gonna come back to fix those, since the size of the game is huge and the complexity so high. I remember I saw somewhere that the game is supposed to have 5 chapters and you are already making the final one. So I will just keep my hopes that after finishing the game you decide to comeback and fix those things, I know the possibility is small, and after so many years working, you must want to finish the thing already, but who knows... you may change your mind until there. Thanks for your time reading this wall of text, and for making the game.

    3. Hmm, I'm not that critical, but I quite agree with you about Wendis and the Tower.

Wendis is a complication that this game does not need. Not only that her death was the main motivation of the protagonist, but I am incredibly irritated that he still calls her "my wife." Wendis is dead, the wedding vow is valid only "until death split us" and that's what happened. In addition, Simon already has a new wife, whom he married perfectly legally. The "New Wendis" is merely a demonic entity and abomination that shares the memories of his dead wife. I could accept that if others treated her that way. But everyone seems to take her as a completely normal person, her wife's status has been restored (which is bullshit) and she has been promoted to a main love interest. Why can't we comment on that? Why can't we say "I'm sorry, (abomination spawn) Wendis, but my wife is now Janine." The whole part with "Wendis" is incredibly forced and immersion breaking.

      Tower is virtually MacGuffin :D

An incomprehensible, immeasurable force capable of everything. Immortality? Easy if you have a sufficient understanding of the Tower. Divinity? Also possible if you have a sufficient understanding of the Tower. Opening a can of beans? This can be a bit complicated, but if you have a sufficient understanding of the Tower, nothing is impossible! It's incredibly cheap principle :-)

But it can still be saved if a sufficiently reasonable explanation is given to us (in the very near future). Sierra Lee has only disappointed me once during the whole game (Wendis) so he has my confidence that he can explain it reasonably and interestingly.

    4. Hi, thanks for taking the time to leave extensive feedback. I'm not going to reply to everything point by point, as we're not always on the same page, but I did read all of it carefully.

      >Frequently I got stuck in place because one of events that moves randomly blocked my only path.

I've tried to include more invisible events for pathing. If you remember any places where you got stuck, list them and I'll look into it.

      >Do you intend to eventually change the presentation of the sex-scenes to the industry standard (image behind and textbox below during the entire scene) or just leave as it is now?

No. It's impossible to fit a long sentence in a standard-sized text box, much less a real paragraph.

    5. Antonio and Edvin you are both entitled to your own opinions so I won't criticize you to in depth in some of your ideas despite disagreeing with them but there is some things I really need to say are a little absurd.

      1. The sprites only showing just Simon and not the entire party. Not to be rude but are you utterly insane? I feel like I must be misunderstanding you but if I'm not what are on about? You're telling me you REALLY want SL to fill the room with the sprites of all 20+ harem members during conversations cutscences and have them in a congo line following Simon? That's just simply absurd.

2.Wendis being the CATALYST OF ALL and the central motivation of Simon's journey. No? Not at all, not during any point was that a thing? While Wendis might have contributed to his flexibility, open mindedness, and acceptance of a having more then one partner, but she gave him all that IN LIFE not from her death. I really really can't fathom where you got the notion that Wendis returning suddenly hollows motivations, as if he wasn't going to to try to make the world a better place if she was still alive.

3.Edvin you are talking pure nonsense. I-I honestly have trouble making a reasonable argument to your statements on Wendis based on silliness of them. I just-I'm sorry I really can't put into words how utterly insane you comment is.

    6. Sinceraly, there are many places I got stuck, a better solution would be create wider passageway, with at least 2 two spaces, but one I remember is the kitchen of Janine palace (when you go talk with the cooker, the zirantian can block you path, I believe Dari can block your path at the kitchen of your castle too).

Ah, I just remembered of a bug I saw. During Erosian war, at the war camp, there is a NPC offering to rebuild the city, I hired him, I had the money to do so, he disappeared, but when the war ended, he was again infront of my palace offering the same thing.

    7. Unknown. At that point Simon doesn't need to bring his entire harem for the cutscenes, if you pay atention, not everybody talks. And again, SL already got things right in some points of the game. And let's say that a diplomatic party of 20 people is far to big anyway you put it. And SL get it right sometimes too, Simon not always bring the non combat members to his expeditions, and just calls them when they are needed. And again, I'm not expecting her to come back and fix everything, but those are my criticisms I believe she should keep in mind for her future projects, it is a fact that most of the cutscenes, I only pay atention to 1/4 of the screen with the rest not really colaborating to anything else.

      Delete
    8. Unknown: I could explain it in more depth, but I didn't want to write a novel. In addition, English is not my native language, so it is possible that I did not express myself exactly the way I wanted. But if you insist...

Simon is a veteran who lost the love of his life when he was still young. This was a major turning point in his life, so thanks to her death, he fully focused only on the war and the fight with Incubus kings. His dedication was so great that he did not lie down with any woman for more than two decades. We can safely say that her death created the man he is today.

We later learned that what was left of his dead wife's soul was twisted beyond recognition. A dark, demonic abomination full of hatred. (So the only sensible thing must be to let her into our world :D) We don't have a single piece of evidence that this is the real Wendis. Even after we created a new body for her, she was not cleansed and she is still abomination. It could easily be some dark demonic entity that has engulfed her soul and memories. Still, we take it for granted. She is automatically and immediately accepted as real, her status as a wife is restored and from the story so far it is clear that she will be our "true" wife, so we won't be able to decide who will be Simon's queen at the end of the game, which makes me incredibly disappointed (so far it is only an assumption, but everything suggests it).

So I'm sorry, that I'm not excited about her character and how she was forced on us.

    10. In my opinion bringing Wendis back is like bringing uncle Ben back, it removes the sense of danger, that real people can die, and the story very well written becomes too "cute" and "happy ending" with nobody making any sacrifice. Yes, she died before the story of the game, but it was enough to give this sense without killing another character that you got too invested (Geoff doesn't count, the guy was an asshole), and then again, makes the Tower again going too far, to the point that no even death is absolute anymore.

    11. Antonio-
Yes wandering NPCs may stick you for a moment or two. This is a 'problem' in every rpgmaker game. There is literally no fix for it save making so no NPC ever moves ever, or have ever space in existence widened. Neither is feasible, so just wait the 6 seconds for them to wander again.

      2. From literally the start of the game it's been made abundantly clear that the the Simon sprite represents the entire party. For that to change and for EVERY instance someone that someone in said party either then Simon talks requires SL to have said person appear in sprite form for the sole purpose of being there is not really reasonable and really wouldn't improve much of anything. Yes there are times when it IS feasible to show everyone, in the after time when either of the great wars ends, but those are the exception and having it done your way would not improve this game or any future ones.

      Antonio-Nope, not right.
When Wendis died Simon had already been fighting the war for half his life (since 15) so this was not the point he dedicated himself to the fight, he had been doing so already. This wasn't the first woman he lost either, Palinia's mother died as well as well as scores of others. And it's not as if Wendis became blind to the world beside fighting to avenge his wife after she died He took a pretty significant break to adopt and raise a young child with blond hair just like hers...
And most wrong of all saying her death made him the man he is today. Her life made him who he is, don't get it twisted.

And then your statements just dissolve into nonsense again, to be clear allow me to go point by point.
"We later learned that what was left of his dead wife's soul was twisted beyond recognition." (Beyond recognition? No Simon literally recognized the shape of her soul before seeing her face. While everyone else was setting defenses he realized who she was.) A dark, demonic abomination full of hatred.(Half made of hatred, the important part is the part that is NOT made of hate.)So the only sensible thing must be to let her into our world :D (No not sensible, this could cause quite a few problems but this was an emotional decision not a logical one.) We don't have a single piece of evidence that this is the real Wendis. (WE HAVE TONS OF EVIDENCE THERE WERE SEVERAL LONG TALKS FROM MAGES AND PEOPLE WHO KNEW WENDIS WHO ALL AGREED YES IT IS HERE AND THEY EVEN SPECIFICALLY SAY "NO IT'S NOT JUST A DEMON WITH HER MEMOIRS) Even after we created a new body for her, she was not cleansed and she is still abomination.(Woah a new pussy didn't instantly cleanse her of decades of unimaginable agony, shocker.) It could easily be some dark demonic entity that has engulfed her soul and memories (No, again this was checked.) Still, we take it for granted. She is automatically and immediately accepted as real,(There were so many tests, and since you likely missed it upon her return nearly every Harem member will voice unease on her if using the chat option.) her status as a wife is restored and from the story so far it is clear that she will be our "true" wife, so we won't be able to decide who will be Simon's queen at the end of the game, which makes me incredibly disappointed so far it is only an assumption, but everything suggests it. (No literally nothing suggests this at any point in reality. There will be no 'true wife' and 'Queen' at the end? What-What gave you that notion? Why would player want that option, why would Simon, why ANY of the Characters want that? You thought at the end Simon was gonna be like hey Aka I like you the most you're my main wife everyone else is just my sluts? I"m sorry if I'm yelling at you but I can't even begin to fathom what you thought your point was here.

THere will be no true wives or whatever, everyone in the harem will choose what 'role' makes them happy. Though slotting them into the word 'role' seems wrong so I'll rather say they'll stay true to whatever relationship they want from Simon. Women who want to be with Simon as 'wives' Like Janine Wendis presumably Carina at some point, will be his wives. None of them greater or lesser then any other. The woman who want Simon to be their daddy will still have that, Robin and Nalia. THe woman who just want to get fucked by a sex good and live as his fucktoys, Trin Altina a certain chapter 5 charcter, can have that be their relationship. The fact that you thought at the very end there would be some sort of, Hey I like the others as fucks but Ya mah Queen and true love, at the end choice is nonsense. He's not gonna make that choice for anyone not even Wendis. Simon loves them all in they way they want to be loved.

    13. Unknown, Final Fantasy 7, every character enter in Cloud, and he represents the party, when a cutscene happens, everybody exits cloud and position themselves, when the cutscene ends, they go back and enter Cloud again. Simple and nice. Also, it is possible to have characters moving and not blocking you, many ways actually, one: you can have large passageways with at least two spaces, two: you can have the priority of the events be 5 so they don't get stuck half a minute trying to go in one of three directions it can't until it finally decides to get in the only direction it can go, three: you can set moving routines to the events you they just go circling a way and don't get stuck between you and where you want to go, four: what SL was saying she was doing, putting invisible events to no let the other events enter one-space passageways, five: not having characters moving at all.

Wendis may not be the only motivation of Simon, but she is a big one, it is a tragedy he got used to, now Winn stupidity is justified, Simon is the wrong for getting that outburst, and all that beautiful scene was for nothing, because, Wynn was right, it is possible to bring the dead back, courtesy of the Tower again breaking the rules of the universe.

Sorry, but Sierra Lee wasn't really inspired in good part of chapter four, Gawnfall was great, but even Erosia War, a conflict that was hinted a long time ago, since the Gathering, was unsatisfactory at least. The entire time Staven was put as an enemy harder than Inccubus Emperor, but no matter how I analysed, he wasn't. His army hated him, couldn't see nothing worse, so, ok, no retreat, but no morale, no effort, no creativity, and worse, Fucklord had to make them himself, which means their number was small. Despite that, once Fucklord retreats the first time, he goes to Zirantia? To do what? Kill the king, confuse the Claw, and transmit a message that would put all Arcland against him, while he had no army to keep territory, ah and feed on the fear of people... is that a thing now? Even the thing about the lust wasn't stabilished before chapter four, even when you had a fight of inccubus kings. Even LustLord going there made no sense, steal the shard, fine, send an army to Ghenalon now, does not.

It's good that you're an expert who fully understands the Tower. Obviously you know exactly what beings live there and what their abilities and motivations are...

Unknown: When Wendis died Simon had already been fighting the war for half his life (since 15) so this was not the point he dedicated himself to the fight, he had been doing so already.

True, but so is everyone else. It's called war and the soldiers are fighting in it. Sacrificing his whole life to her memory was not his only motivation, but was the main and strongest. Antonio had a good argument with uncle Ben. The sacrifice or fear for the lives of our characters is unnecessary when everyone, even characters dead for decades, can be brought to life. This is a VERY dangerous precedent.

Unknown: There will be no 'true wife' and 'Queen' at the end.

Is it good that you know the end of the game, don't you want to share other key information? :D

It is clear to me that Simon will have more than one wife (my provisional assumption is 5), but I believe that most will be optimal. "True wife" is just a term I use myself. Even in our history there are plenty rulers who had more than one wife, but only one, "main/top wife" is usually well known. I am irritated by the fact that the so-called Wendis seems to have acquired this role without me being able to say anything about it. Also, "Simon loves them all equally" is bullshit, and I think you know that. Anyway, I don't believe Sierra Lee would be so cruel, and he gave us only single linear end of the game.

    15. Edvin: It is kinda rich you're accusing Unknown of assuming a lot of stuff when you're doing the same, without discussing any assumptions, I just want to fact-check some things:

Wendis never actually died, this is just a technicality, but while her body was mostly destroyed, her soul was preserved by whatever magic the mummified Incubus King tried to use to make himself undying, both their souls ended up in the Tower, Wendis consumed his and then rebuilt herself as a Tower abomination, but her soul never passed on, she was just deeply scarred by having to survive almost 30 years in the depths of the Tower. Wendis is an abnormality, not an indication that no one can die and the Tower can "resurrect" anyone. And no, the game's dialogue has made it clear that Wendis isn't a secret demon impersonating her.

Wendis' death was an important event in Simon's life, but it was never his single character defining moment. Simon was never "just a soldier", even after the truce between Ardoheim and the Incubus King was brokered, he chose to join the church and combat the Incubus Emperor all over the continent (Wendis was still alive at this point), the few flashbacks and conversations about the past all indicate that even before Wendis died Simon was resolute, hard-working, an atheist, concerned with the world at large; he was already Simon before Wendis was killed.

While this is just my interpretation, if anything Wendis' death made Simon more aware of his own mortality, more stern, and needlessly self-sacrificing, which are all things he's been breaking away from since the start of the game.

      Delete
    16. Thiago de Oliveira Lopes: True, but as you can see, I always say that these are only my assumptions. He presents his own assumptions as irrefutable facts.

Mummification magic is not an excuse. It still means that it is possible to "save" souls and restore destroyed bodies, so death is no longer final. And if we can believe the so-called Wendis, then you can remember that she herself said that she engulfed many demons and abominations inside the tower. She even wears two instead of eyes! If you think that you can be completely normal after something like that, then you are very naive. So even if I assuming "Wendis" isn't some entity that engulfed her soul (something like "The one of many" from Neverwinter night) when she was in the depths of the Tower (remember the powerful evil entities that the little blonde girl was talking about?) she is no longer the same woman she was and Simon loved. You cannot absorb abominations and not become one of them yourself.

      Delete
    17. @Edvin

He never said that she was unharmed. He even explicitly stated that "she was deeply scarred by having to survive almost 30 years in the depths of the tower."

Also, you keep on going about being possible to "save" souls, and yet the only reason this was able to happen in the first place was through a very specific set of circumstances that are incredibly unlikely to ever happen again. And that's not even mentioning the fact that, like Thiago stated, she wasn't technically killed. She had a really strange interaction with the magic they encountered by the ancient Incubus King that ended up preserving her soul while in the Tower. If that had not happened, then she would have been lost completely with no chance of coming back.

Lastly, it's never once indicated that Wendis is the "top wife" as you've said previously. She was integrated into the harem, and has a firm past with both Simon and Wynn, sure, but she has no higher rank than any other member of the group. If you can list evidence to the contrary, then please by all means do. But as it stands now, there's nothing to suggest that she's cared about any more than any other member of the harem.

    18. Edvin, I think it's more interesting the fact that the abomination couldn't be allowed to enter the normal dimension because it would create a body and begin absorbing energy until become unstoppable, now Simon have to create her body? That white guy was even less than a soul is got a body of his when got into reality. And would Simon really give a shard with a power equivalent to an inccubus king to a being that already confessed part of she wants to destroy the world? Doesn't seem very safe to me, especially considering how the shards have a tendency of exagerating the personality of its holder (idiots become extreme, manipulators become obsessive manipulators (Fucklord trusted nobody, main reason why he falls) agressive person becomes even more agressive (Empress, despite having a deathwish still cling to life to kill the inccubus kings)).

    19. Nim: "Deeply scarred" is an extreme underestimation :D
The child may be deeply scarred if his father beat him. If you swallow the essence of a demons and abominations, you will be MUCH more than "deeply scarred".

The circumstances of saving souls does not have to be rare or very specific. Simon and his friends already save soul before :-) Remember Fucklord? We caught his soul without any problems after he killed himself. We could easily create a new body and revive him. :-)

Antonio: Very good argument! She's practically a ticking bomb. If she really is who she claims to be, then if Simon were killed or badly wounded, she could easily go into an unstoppable berserker mode. (Maybe it doesn't even have to be that serious. Who knows how much is her mind corrupted?) If that happen, I don't think that any of the current rulers could stop her. She is an unstable threat on a global scale.

    20. Not important, but as to the whole tangle of switches and variables...I poked around and there are multiple thousands. I have no idea how Sierra can keep this together even with a massive spreadsheet.

  8. I know this Sound obvious, but I saw Ivala can RP. Does it mean Simon gonna... meet her?(In different way.) If that true, oh boy, the Church gonna lose their head and start a goddamn crussade.

    1. Oh boy (spoiler alert, begining of chapter 5) I'd be more worried about who captured the goddess. To have someone capable of such a thing is what would really piss the Hester off.

    2. Stands to reason that it's one of the Incubus Kings that's holding Ivala, perhaps the Anak. Maybe he draws energy from her worshipers. Sierra Lee, are you close to releasing v.051.1 especially for the Tower Mine fix? Thanks so much, and keep up the great work!

  9. Great new update, nice to see new content spread around so there's a reason to visit everywhere again. If we don't unlock Eustrin's section right away, will we be able to do so in future updates?

    1. Yes, definitely. I intended unlocking it first thing to actually be a bit difficult.

    2. Partway there already. Dialogue already changed a bit. I wonder how much farther....

And knowing the way you make things here, there's probably multiple levels of damage and consequences depending on influence etc.

    3. There are different stages leading up to freeing Eustrin, but once you hit the cutoff, you're essentially good.
