TLS 1.1.0 Released!

The game may be fully launched, but I remain committed to TLS! There's a new version out for supporters on Patreon or SubscribeStar and the version history has been updated.


TLS 1.1.0

- Revamp for the Eustrin maps.

- New fullscreen script with anti-aliasing settings.

- New illustrated scenes: Death's Scene, Grynyth + Goddesses, Megail x Iris

- All reported bugs and typos since the 1.0.0 release.


Originally I planned for this version to be a huge art update, illustrating all of Chapter 4's scenes, but plans have changed. Instead of waiting for that, I wanted to get out this update, because it has a number of important features as well as a variety of bug fixes that have been getting reported multiple times. Since it may be a little while, better to have everyone playing a newly polished version.

The updates could well have introduced new bugs, though, so this one will be supporter-only for a little while. One week or maybe two; I figure there's less pressure now that the game has launched. But rest assured, the 1.1.x upgrade will be coming to everyone in time, and 1.2.0 with a ton of new illustrated scenes will be coming after that!

  1. Oh, a Eustrin revamp ? Will it be gradual over it's revitalization or a brand new look since the start ? Does it concern the surface tunnels, the deep ones, the royal quarters or the common area ? How many penguin-armed broom bosses have you added ? The trepidation is killing me !!!!

    Otherwise, I was already happy with the original look. What prompted you to modify it ?

    1. Brand new look from the start, giving the central areas a look of finished stone. The previous Eustrin was just using the same cave tiles as Yhilin underground areas, so I'm happy to give the dwarves a unique aesthetic.

    2. Been replaying to prepare for Eustrin revamp, especially to check the Exterior Tunnels, and I have found 3 omissions :
      - Stervin first dialogue is a standard dwarf portrait, his custom one only trigger when he move closer to the group.
      - Both processor and supplier don't have the new Ledger interface with Megail's thoughts.

    3. Strevin I think was reported previously and will be fixed this build (though feel free to check me on it!).

      This is arguable, but I didn't make cards for the processor/supplier because they're directly in an obligatory section.

  3. I've tried the new version, but the new anti-aliasing is making things a lot blurrier like I don't have my glasses on. Is there a way to disable it?

    1. And yes, I already have anit-aliasing disabled in system options... just doesn't seem to disable it.

    2. For anyone in the future, deleting the fullscreen.dll in the System folder fixed this for me.
