TLS 1.0.0 Official Release!

It's finally time... when I say the new update is public, I mean that version 1.0.0 has gone live! There might be some future builds that are given on Patreon or SubscribeStar first, but the model of releases I have been maintaining for ten years has finished. Let's link the version history page one more time in case anyone wants to review.

This blog has been tracking the game from the beginning, so I'm glad to finally bring things to their conclusion here. ^-^ That said, if you want to celebrate with other fans, the Steam forums or the Discord are good choices. 

Of course, you could also celebrate by doing another playthrough now that we've hit the official complete version! And by now it almost goes without saying that I'm appreciative of reviews; I know some people refuse to review Early Access games on principle, so now is the time.

    Some years ago when I played this for the first time it struck me as something completely different from what I had seen so far. The story, the game, the characters were so high above any expectations and the passion in your work really showed. Again, congratulations on the 1.0.0!

  3. Congratulations on the official release! I know I don't regret a single one of the 573 hours I've put into multiple playthroughs over the years as the game inched closer to full completion.

    I remain absolutely convinced that this is one of the best games I have ever played (would legitimately rate it higher in my estimation then Skyrim and many similar big games) with how it blends plenty of spice and smut with actual story and character development and world building and choices.

    I want to throw a Qum plush into the air, but I don't have one.
    Excellent idea for a goodie, though.

    Finishing this 10 years project must be the same feeling as passing the baccalaureat and being left alone with no need to go back to school the next day. Full of freedom, but also confusion, emptiness and sadness (only for TLS, not for not going to school XDXDXD)
    At least you have your other games and novels to keep you from slipping into a soft melancholy.

    Well I've already whined enough about my feelings of seeing TLS end over these last few months, so I'll finish it here. See you soon on your next project !!!

    2. Made a few maths.
      - As of today, 26/10/25, 10:30, France, you have made 889 reviews in 5 years on Steam.
      - Of them, there was 46 bad reviews, most of them being trolls, and 843 good reviews.
      - That means your game is appreciated by 95.826% of your player base, with only 5.174% being disappointed. Again, the exact percentage of truly disappointed players is messed up by the presence of trolls.
      - All your recent and overall reviews are 'Overwhelmingly Positive'. Furthermore, your previous record of 70 positive reviews of february 2019, with the initial release on Steam, have been crushed by your new october 2025 record of 114 positive reviews. And the month isn't finished yet ^^

      I can confidently say that The Last Soveriegn is a grand success ^^

    3. We're also way past the former record for highest number of players, with 3x normal playing the game on average! I'm certainly grateful for everyone showing their support, I just hope TLS can continue to reach new people.

  8. Congratulations on the big release! I look foward to replaying this (yet again) and seeing everything that you've done in the final months with polishing.
    Unfortunately I do come with yet another bug report:
    I think that when you get the option during chapter 1 to give megail 25.000ProN it should not say 'debug test' in the result section: https://imgur.com/a/3oW6v0I

    2. Ignore this if it is intentional, but the three dwarven investors during Megail's Route (manufacturer/supplier/processor) do not have those new fancy investment popups that others have.

    3. Two more minor graphical bugs i encountered:
      -the first is not something many will come across, but after the party split when talking to Megail to get the first returns from investments, the display does not correctly show the discount in upkeep you get when hiring multiple mercernaries (at least when i hired all 3 for a meme playthrough). the display still shows -30k, -45k and -75k. It is only a graphical bug, because it does calculate the ProN correctly with discounts. I have no clue if it also happens with only hiring 2 mercenary groups.
      -the second is during the elven visit in chapter 3: the guard outside Lynine has a blue coat, but when you side with Orilise the ingame sprite and the dialogue sprite of the guard still has a green coat: https://imgur.com/a/VygyjxO (unless it is a different male that guards the door from the one that stands to the side of it at the start, then ignore it)

    4. Looks like the first one is a typo in the Ledger script, so that is easily fixed.

    5. Hello, unfortunately me again with two more minor things i noticed:
      During chapter 3 governing Yhilin, in the house of petitions there are three persons who do not have walking animations, Also during the 3rd arclentian war, in the bloody spire the red erosian orc has dialogue about having sex with Yarra even when you said no during the Gathering: https://imgur.com/a/OpgheK3

    7. One more: since it is now possible to get a Liquid Sex all the way back in ch. 2, it is now also possible to get Yarra's Pin much earlier than when you complete the Dark Ruin in ch. 4, but when you get the Liquid Sex from the ruin, Yarra still talks about 'having my own plan in mind too'.
      Not that many will probably see it since i think you need all 3 mercenary companies to get it, but still.

  10. It's probably something you've already put somewhere in some FAQ or something but is the steam version 100% the same as the direct download one. I want to do my new playthrough there if it would help boost the analytics but don't want to end up playing a censored/edited version

    1. The Steam version is not censored or altered in any way. Playing over there doesn't hurt, and reviews always help!

  11. Potential Bug: I loaded the auto-save after the day 28 cutscene in simon's route and it loads a black screen. You can still move around and interact (blind). I have the autosave if it is helpful.

  12. Hello, I found another minor bug:
    on the map “357:War Headquarters” in event (002,000) in one of the branches of Varia's last line, the switch “Varia DOMINATE” is missing.

    1. You mean that in one branch, Varia always says "You got it!" instead of having two alternate lines? If so, got it fixed, thanks!

    2. Hello, there are two more missing dialogue lines:
      On the “485:Conference Chamber” map, in events (007,015) and (009,015) on page 2 in the “No” branch, Simon's line is missing. There should be a refusal as on the first page or at the bottom.

    3. "Conference Chamber" is a very vague map name and I don't want to search through every area to find it. Which region is this?
