Another update with more harem quests! The .1 version also added a backlog for if you missed dialogue, so please enjoy that. The roadmap is getting much closer to complete.

ReplyDeleteThe sparkle in front of the entrance of Stineford Cathedral, used for the cutscene between Sarai and Annah for Sarai's harem quest is available even when you haven't started the quest in Sarai's Headquarters. I checked a save of mine from chapter 1 when you are in Stineford and the sparkle is still there, which blocks access to the cathedral. You can of course watch the cutscene and continue but I assume itll be a very confusing one if you just start the game ;)
Oh no. Such an easy mistake, and so easy to fix, but doing all the compiling and uploading again... T-T

What you're describing is what would happen if you somehow had the switches flipped for BOTH of them being promoted. That would indeed be a bug, but I don't know how it would occur and thus have no idea how I'd go about changing anything.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately it seems something slipped through the gaps somewhere as while I could trigger the cutscene near Theltiar and start the quest, the guard near Orilise's HQ wouldn't spawn afterward. Someone on Discord had me use a save editor to flip switch #5049 (Elven Ghetto) and that seems to have fixed it.
Again, thanks for all the hard work, getting close to the end now. Looking forward to seeing where it all goes.
Looks like that's just an oversight on my part. Got it fixed on my end, so this should work in the future.

Janine quest. Heh, I remember that I spent half an hour finding cool names for the portraits I would hang in my base. Like someone said about Estaven “He spend 6 months fiddling with every decorations of his palace before abruptly growing bored.” Not getting bored anytime soon ^^

DeleteAlright, I give up. I tried, and failed (after 3 hours and asking for help on Discord), to mess around the switches to get Grynyth dialogs on Janine quest. The only thing I can get in have the painters frozen before the entrance after Sarai and Vhala/Dari portrait play automatically after I teleport. In any case, I found Grynyth near the flowers saying she doesn’t feel right pushing into this and that she’ll stay outside to enjoy the flowers. I hope that was everything she had to say, or else I’ll need to replay EVERYTHING. Again.
Now unto Uyae quest. By the way, what happened to the twins lore-wise ? Were they imprisoned for failing to protect the King and control the Divine Claw, or were they released and they wandered off into the distance ?
I’ve also noticed in the saves of Tosha that I’ve missed some content, specifically the Blood Lord subordinates. Hence why I missed the optimal outcome for Qum school and the convo at Gasm Falls and Cee’Kan shipping. A bit strange since I always try to save everyone. Oh well, I’ve modified this switch now.
Xestris and Zirantia convo at SE-11 is nice and would have been the natural answer to my comment in a previous version asking if they were Zirantians too XDXDXD
In any case all this backtracking really made me realize that the wiki will need to work hard to organize the optimal rundown of all the harem quests after all of them come out XDXDXD Can’t miss any variables now ^^ And more organization can’t hurt, for exemple, Elleani quest in not even in the Quests page, but on a separate one. What a mess XDXDXD

2 little bugs I've noticed about portraits.
Delete1 : Sabitha portrait use the wrong horns and skin tone ; if she's not blue, she have no horns.
2 : I have noticed on Thosha saves that he have access to Zelica memorial version before even beginning Janine Quest, and after finishing it, the memorial version disappears. For info, my main save have all the portraits except Zelica memorial version.
And I really like the flowers for Trin ^^ She can't escape ^^

Yeah, for many updates I was making alterations to a fake "Ivala" variable to mess with people. ^-^

That does sound like a switch bug, but I'm afraid I can't track it down right now.
