I'll say it again. Thank you for creating such an incredibly interesting story and world for us to explore. The vast amount of time, effort and passion you've put into this project clearly shine through.
I just had a thought: how often do the incubus kings usually have a Gathering? Isn't this the second one in 5 years? I would think they normally wouldn't have gatherings that often (which is really just further evidence of how much Simon has changed the world).
Anyways, I'm definitely looking forward to the public release. :)
Not in the plan for the main game, sorry. The party's research is significant, but Simon can't make his entire shard transcend sexuality, much less the others he's absorbed.
@Sierra Is anything planned for the incubus gear cause I thought it may come into play if/when simon is fully outed/against goddesses. Also are the shinning swords anything worth collecting via game play standards? Hope this is vague enough to answer.
Sierra has confirmed in the past that the Incubus gear and Shining Swords will have a gameplay effect at some point, and the Incubus gear has already quietly had an effect during the Erosian war. They're irregular, but it's common to go ten or more years in between Gatherings. Having two so close together is indeed a sign of an unstable world.

Will Simon ever be able to use weapons like Crusader swords?
ReplyDeleteI think that the nature of his shard prevents him from using holy weapons. Should he find a way to ascend his shard, maybe he will.
