2018!

I have just made last week's 2017 in Review post public. Please do read if you are interested in my reflections on the past year as well as an indicator of my focuses for this one.

One thing I want to say unavoidably here: I am not sure how 2018 will go for TLS updates. It remains my primary project, and I hope to advance significantly closer to the end. However, based on the content that I intend to create and other impending events, I'm afraid the releases will be irregular.

I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel it was best for the game overall, but I understand some will be disappointed. In any case, I look forward to bringing you a lot of content in 2018!

  3. Back in 2015 I first discovered The Last Sovereign. It quickly became abundantly clear that this game wasn't your run of the mill "H-game" but in fact something quite special. For that reason I purposefully held of playing any more of it until I was sure I'd be able to experience it in it's entirety. I check in on the developments every few months, trying my best to stave off the temptation of grabbing the newest versions for a quick fix. I hope I can continue resisting and look forward to eventually experiencing this labor of love you've dedicated so much time and effort into in it's finished state.

Thanks for everything and I wish you all the best this new year!

    1. You have some impressive willpower there! While you will be waiting for a while longer yet, you'll have a ton of gameplay to look forward to at the end. ^-^

    2. I have 2 saves. As of last version, both of them are 40+ hours long.

  4. This is by far one of the best and most thorough RPG maker games i have ever played. Hope 2018 allows you opportunities to add more to the game.

    2. So i believe i have reached the end of current content. Though I am curious if there a way to prevent Hilstara ( Armor Lady ) from becoming a non combatant. Regardless though, I seriously do love the game, and am epicly impressed at how you managed to do all of the war, politics, character development, well simply everything.
i am currently at over 70 hours of gameplay, and i swear its just like crack. i cant get enough haha.
Though i am curious ( sorry to sound greedy here ) as to when the next addition to the game might be implemented.

    3. Depending on how well you have supported the Aramite front and how many solo battles you win with Hilstara, a variable for her changes. She can end up a permanent non-combatant, temporarily injured, or completely fine. If you want Hilstara to stay in the party, you could try sending more forces to Aram and/or reequipping her for the solo fights.

As for your question, hopefully soon. Glad you're enjoying the game!

    4. Thank you for the info. she ended up as permanent non combatant on this go sadly. Ended up losing 1 fight when she was solo :(
I really love this game. If i had 10% of your skill, i could make an rpg maker game and probably sell it lol.

  7. As someone who's been playing on-off since the version this was first named "The Last Sovereign" (0.8, i think???), I've found that the wait will ALWAYS be worth it... especially considering I find this to be THE BEST RPGMAKER GAME, I've ever played - Hands Down!

All the best to you this 2018 and beyond!
