Same. I knew there would be consequences for that one, but did it anyways. I swear, once the game is complete I intend to figure out what my ideal ending WOULD be, and then work backwards through the game to figure out what choices would need to be made to achieve it.

ReplyDeleteMust admit that while I love that my choices actually matter in this game, the min-maxer in me hurts deeply from seeing all of the content I cannot access due to bad(?) investments early on, haha. Not to mention I got a whopping 0 our of 3 new party members, whoo!
Anyway, small bug I found in Ryoken: the damaged (torii) gates in the center of town are impassible. Minor inconvenience at worst, but still.
All of that content will still be available in future updates, of course!

Damn, I know I'm probably in the minority, but this is the first first update I was disappointed with.
ReplyDeleteI have waited all eternity to create a new body for my ex-wife (a small note: the marriage vow is only "until we are separated by death" so she is no longer Simon's wife.) and when it finally happened, the result was anticlimactic. The scene was short, offering no possibilities (I was hoping I could somehow influence the final look of her body. Hair, eyes, body type etc.) and as a result virtually nothing has changed. She is still abomination (I thought that the reason they did this whole thing was to "purify" her spirit form and restore humanity), but now she has an anchor to the physical body.
This is not how I really imagined closing one of the most important story lines :-(
I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy it. All I can really say is that this isn't the closing of Wendis's storyline, just a major step.

Anyway, harem and concubines are one thing, but what about the problem with multiple wives? Janine probably wouldn't be too excited to see Simon's ex-wife rose from the grave. I'm really curious about the conversation between those two :D
Also, I have the hope that my abomination ex-wife won't be my "bound" main wife. My empire will need a queen, but this psycho freak is at the bottom of my list.
There is a conversation between Wendis and Janine if you go and speak to Janine in the Yhilini royal chambers after rescuing Wendis from the Deep Tower.

I was replaying through the game to deal with me having copied Reletima and just because I enjoy it and have stumbled upon a pretty big problem.
If Nalili is dead at the moment you, during the Erosian War, leave section with the blue and red demons where you can get the Demonic Seed the first time, then when you're supposed to start the Sylvan Grove section you just get a Game Over.
Yeah, these slip through sometimes. I'll add a line giving Nalili HP so that it won't happen. Thanks!

I haven’t gotten through all the content so far, still chilling up in chapter 3, but I noticed that I don’t have the option of choosing scenes with Varia after I’ve maxed her relationship points. Does she only have one or is something wrong? Oh and I’m playing the Steam version if that matters
ReplyDeleteGlad you're enjoying the game! In certain cases, characters may have other requirements to unlock further scenes. Depending on where exactly you're talking to Varia, I can't confidently say what the exact requirement is. But I can tell you that Varia should have two and that the Steam version should be the same.

One of the first things I've done when I've launched the game is go see Nice Little Girl to have a talk since it's been a while. Sad to see her gone.
The sfx when doing the forging of Wendis body almost made me fall of my chair. I expected a long processus with cutscenes like with Dari, and instead we get a sfx who don't fit with the rest of the game and it's finished. A bit short for my taste. And the harem didn't come to see it ? It's an important moment after all.
SSW scene «But in this form, I wont have any back pain, and they won't jiggle around when I run.» It's a cheat !!! So many woman would kill for this.
Wonder what Ginasta would say when meeting SSW. Is she immortal due to her link to the Tower ?

When talking to an ogre on the side, I noticed that his sprite is moving more quickly than when talking to him face to face. His legs looks like a frog (I don't think they can support such a mass when built like this), his hands move more and he seems unhappy.

Carina means that Sarai is going overboard in making her headquarters seem very pure/holy.

The guards don't just imprison them immediately, so the succubi have time to feel out the person. If a truly kind person tried to help, they might get a reward. ^-^

In Eustrin, when talking to the dwarf to choose where to go, when selecting "Royal Tunnels", you are teleported at the entrance of the guest chambers and not on the teleportation crest.

ReplyDeleteAll in all, it was rather relaxing experience, so are we going next to Renthnor to balance it? ;-)
As usual, I noticed only very minor things that could make the game polished even more:
1. In comparsion with plot scenes, most repeatable sex scenes don't have a black background, though scenes with the earliest characters got them and latest scene with Qum in Ferholm church does not. And they look better when you don't see moving sprites behind when they should be having fun time.
2. Also Balia, Dari, Fheliel, Lynine, Orcent, Orilise, Uyae, Vhala and Wendis dialogues have 'nothing' option, while others do not. I don't know if it would be easier to remove or to add it to others, but it could look more uniform.
3. Similiarly, newest portals to Tatseni, Ghenalon and Stenai have 'yes/stay' options, while earlier portals with only one destination have 'yes/no' option.
4. Simon bedroom private teleport destination in Ghenalon could be made next to the floor hexagram, as in Janine chamber.
5. In Ardford business district, there's still a shining light in front of shop with ornaments (NE corner).
6. After talking about reworking Aka's knife in Stineford inn, she stays there afterwards. Maybe she likes to voyeur others, but she really shouldn't be with Simon on bed at the same time. And also, there's an unanimated sprite with hairless girl mixed with others on bed.
7. You really could put some document/book in front of Sarai during the Council, because she looks so unprepared compared to other priestess.
It's a good thing I could only point such minor things. Keep up such quality.

A quick question: There's hints that a band of disgraced mercenaries are hiding in Rebel Pass. That could either be the Magekillers or the Redlight Mercenaries. When is the harem going to make the connection and go in to give them a good stabbing?

DeleteI'm not sure if this was mentioned before but if you missed Altina's custom wand in the first stenai visit, you find the enchanter in his home town of Ghenalon but when you make the custom wand, you get teleported back to stenai, like if you had made it during your stenai visit

DeleteHi, I started the game three days ago and for the first time I'm stuck. I'm doing Aka's Route and here are the things that I'm unable to make:
ReplyDelete-I can't complete the Yhilini Thaumaturgy test:I've already used Trin for one and she doesn't want to do the one that was seemingly designed just for her now
-When it comes to the cult quest: the second round is literally impossible, I only have Aka and Robin in my party and they're level 24 and 23 respectively and I just get destroyed.
-Finally, I think I messed up when copying people with Trin, I did it carelessly and now there are some (minor ?) things I figured that I can't trigger after I saw a walk-through, can it be reverted ?
Looking forward to your answers, it would bother me a lot to restart everything from the very beginning...

about the cult quest, it seems you missed altina on recruitment, she does make a diference there.
about trin's copies can't be reversed i would sugest tah you make separate saves, or at least make a save starting from the first time you leave feroholm so you can skip prologue without having any choice taht would affect the future.
I've run into an issue regarding the Demonic Seed. I know Sabitha gave it to me, but it isn't in my inventory and I can't create Wendis's new body. Is there another one I am missing somewhere, or a way to fix this?
ReplyDeleteYou might want to ask on the wiki, as this post is a bit old. If you've discovered a bug that prevents the Demonic Seed from being given, that would be important to fix, so please consider uploading saves there too.

I have to ask this I'm after the Erosian war and just finished up what I could but every time I talk to Iris she's telling me to look though the investment opportunities and to talk to ulrissa. I've been everywhere I can think of and couldn't find ulrissa or where any more investment opportunities that were I can check.
