Okay, this is the official version of the Battle of Yhilin. There have been some mistakes corrected in the mechanics as well as some rebalancing, so if you want your save file to be completely "correct" you could use this version. Having said that, the differences are fairly minor. If you have a save from 0.18.2 or corrected from 0.18.1, it'll be just fine going forward. Just wanted to have the public-facing version be the finalized version.

Posting this doesn't mean I've been spending all this time working on the previous version! There's plenty done on version 0.19.0, which is shaping up to be a pretty broad update. It won't be as big as the double Stineford or Ardford updates, but it'll have quite a few sidequests.

Duplicating bugfixes on the two versions has been a little tedious, though. If/when I create another update this complex, I will probably need to think of a better way to keep up as much momentum as possible. Anyway, see you next version!

  1. Thanks! Seems you got around to fixing the human counter bug. Now I don't have to overextend either of my armies! ^_^

    1. Yup! The changes aren't dramatic, but they'll make a difference to some games, so I wanted to get this version out ahead of the next update.

  2. Hi. I found you game and it was awesome. I wish there were scene at the part where we can see some action during the sex scenes but there still good without the action. I'm going to tell you this "You're Amazing!!!". I wanted to know if you plan you add a leveling system for their relationships or something.

    1. Glad you liked it! As for a leveling system for relationships, what exactly did you have in mind?

    2. My guess is that they mean adding tiers like "neutral", "friendly", "in love" and so on which would unlock new scenes (or "relationship level 1" and so on). If so, I think that's basically already how it works anyway, the tiers just aren't named. One potential difference is that you might not be able to *lose* relationship levels, i.e. you'd never be able to go back from "in love" to "friendly". But that's not necessarily the case even with levels.

Anyway, it might be something to consider. I've always found the affection points system a bit confusing in that I never know how much to aim for, since they're just numbers.

    3. Err isn't that basically how it works already XD? I mean it doesn't go ding or anything but when you reach certain relationship thresholds a girls title changes and certain sex scenes become available. Also once someone hits 100 relationship and you have a certain talk with them it can no longer drop.

    4. Here is what we know about the different tiers:
-Most of the tiers happen at 50, 75 and 10 RPs, but not always.
-When you gain a tier, the title changes (for instance Aka jumps from Assasin with Benefits[Tier 3] to Loyal Assasin).
-In most cases, you unlock a new sex scene.
-Non-harem characters with relationship points are presumed to be future harem members, but this is just a speculation.

    5. The leveling idea of the RPs on a certain character should be like the health bar except that they view as pink. The levels are just 3 I thought up. (Slave, Servant, Sex Partner or something similar). Just a suggestion but I still think it's your choice. :D

  3. Can you specify what the bug is and how it affects the game?

    1. It's more like a half dozen minor bugs that change how variables are calculated, along with a handful of balance changes, and a few dozen small improvements with no gameplay changes.

    2. Can you give me some specifics? Like how will this affect my save game if I go back and restart it with the bugfixed version?

  4. So wait, I'm probably reading this wrong. This is not the update for this month? Or it is and I'm just trying to squeeze more releases out of you? *whistles inconspicuously~*

    1. It seems like it's a handful of bug fixes and gameplay changes to the battle of Yhilin, not any story changes, correct?

    2. It is an update, but obviously I'm still working on 0.19.0 as I discussed above. Technically the update for this month was 0.18.2 earlier. They come out as I finish them, though, not on a set schedule.

  5. Hello, I downloaded the latest version but couldn't get around the waiting room. Am I doing something wrong because I can play all other versions previously with no problems.

    1. I doubt you're doing anything wrong. What was the most recent version you played? This is 0.18.3, it doesn't have a new section of content if you've played any 0.18.x version.

    2. I see, I played 0.18.2 the last time. Thanks!

  6. First and foremost, I owe you an apology. When my friend suggested that I played this game a while back, I thought he was doing so in jest. You've created a surprisingly fun and well designed RPG. I find it more than a little entertaining, even though I skip all of the H-scenes (sorry, it's not really my thing).

In any case, I thank you for the enjoyable experience.

  7. Quick question, are all characters who gain Affection Point calculations considered part of the Harem? If so, how does that work with Esthera/Saria/Vhala? Or are they a separate system from the Harem?

And is Dari actually a harem member or not? She's not on Yarra's harem menu while Robin the platonic daughter is, whats up?

    1. Characters who gain relationship points are characters who gain relationship points, no comment other than that. =P

Regarding Yarra's harem menu, are you absolutely sure about that? Robin shouldn't be appearing there under any circumstances, even if you're mining the game files. As for Dari, she has joined the party, but as an Unwoman she really isn't capable of being in the harem.

  9. So after playing this like 5 times (This game is addicting). I've noticed that not all succubi have horns. Are there succubi without horns or are they merely "Covered" by their hair?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Some really don't have horns. A succubus comments on it during Yarra's path.

    2. Huh I must have missed that NPC. Thought I talked to them all.

      Delete
    3. Its one of the succubi debating immigration policies during the night. You can come back and talk to them after meeting with them a first time.

      Delete
    4. Yeah, that's correct. Many succubi do have them covered by their hair, though, hornlessness is somewhat rare.

  12. Hi, first of: big fan of TLS, seriously, great job with it. Now, I am in a bit of a predicament. You see, I am in the hidden fortress and gotten my way into the secret room with the key and I've disabled the teleport. But I can't, for the life of me, win against those two unpeople that are inside the room. They either nuke me right off the bat, or slowly overpower me before I kill even one of them.
