TLS 0.80.5

- Very likely final round of polishing.

- Fixed bug where if the Stineford brothel returns, it isn't the new version.

- One more battle bust configuration issue.

- There's a new interaction in the Hall of Ryoken if you have 100% library completion.


I'm running out of things to say here. I could theoretically have pushed this update public today, but this weekend is a bad one for a release. It'll almost certainly go public next weekend.

Direct sales on Patreon?

Please forgive this interruption to the postgame development for a question specifically for non-patrons! Got something I'm considering as I get a bit of spare time away from development.

Patreon isn't a store, but it really seems to want to be, regularly pushing new features at me. One of them is the option for people to buy items via the site: my understanding is that you do a one time payment and instantly get access to a post and its contents.

Now, this doesn't have much value for patrons, since they already get access to new content (and I give free links to anyone who has been around for a while). Hence, this is actually more relevant for people who might be here: would this be a useful feature to you? My games are already available on Steam and itch.io, but I know some people don't like to use platforms. This would be a way to get a straightforward DRM-free version of the game, without needing to wait for me to confirm payment and get back to you.

Is this something that would add value to the people interested in my work? I'll do it if it would help a couple people, but I don't want to jump through the Patreon hoops if it doesn't actually add any convenience. My games would stay on other platforms and TLS will remain free, of course.

TLS 0.80.4

 TLS 0.80.4

- Potentially the final round of polish. If anything remains not updated, I've likely overlooked it.

- Gryndine River was updated and always intended to be accessible, but the entrance wasn't reopened until just now.

- The Forest of the First Root is open again. There's nothing there, but people wanted it.

- The Givini Poorhouse has a new map, if you have enough Ardoheim score.

- New event progressing across multiple maps. In my opinion, this is not worth tracking down if you've already played the postgame.

- Balance for the changes in Stineford has been tweaked (not retroactive).

- Janine appears with a new conversation in her retreat (if her quest was completed).

- Characters appear in the Ardford council chambers depending on Vhala's quest.

- High Priestess Annah now appears in Stineford Cathedral.

- Sabitha now appears in the Erosian palace.

- New event in Denmiel Archives.

- New event in the Gardens of Steam.

- Easter egg if you never invest in the Givini War Monument.

- Super secret ultimate final dungeon added to the Orgasmic Empire.


Reports finally tapered off this week, giving me some time to add more content... likely inviting more bugs and thus reports. =P I think I'm going to call it here: I'm officially in reactive mode now. Of course I'll continue to fix any bugs that arise, and I'm open to adding more if there are good ideas, but I'm not actively adding more to the postgame anymore. One, I've gotten through my list of plans, and two, I've worn myself out.

So the update will be private for a little while longer, as I take suggestions from supporters, but the public release is getting closer.

TLS 0.80.3

TLS 0.80.3

- Yet further polishing, and I'm not convinced the base world is 100% up to par even now.

- New conversation added starting off the section and fixing battle music.

- New (non-sex) scene added to the base bed.

- Certain issues with base customization have been fixed thanks to a new script from DukeLeto7.

- Placeholder credits replaced with real version.


Updating a world the size of TLS's is just... a lot of work. In the process of updating various things, some events have actually been retroactively changed so they have more dialogue (for example, Tradesmasher now changes his line through chapters). I'm also incorporating various suggestions from supporters as I keep fleshing out the postgame.
