 - Completed Aka's route.
 - Two new plot sex scenes.
 - More battle songs have been added, further differentiating the various types.
 - Changes to SP balance.

Huge update for everyone! Aka's route takes you high and low in Ari-Yhilina, as you'll soon see. There are a lot of secrets in this one, so have fun figuring those out.

I have most of the planning for Yarra's route done, and I'll hopefully get started as soon as the release is past and I'm less busy.

    1. It sounds to me like you haven't visited any of the new sections of Ari-Yhilina. But if you have, here's your clue: you would have seen the correct library on your way to a negotiation that went surprisingly well.

    4. I've just been playing around my save lately, and i noticed some things...

      If i may make a suggestion: What do you think of the possibility to see the current amount of Affection, not just when Simon speaks to a Harem Member personally, but also through, say, Yarra's Harem "listing" (she is, after all the "Harem Mistress", hehehe)? Or, additionally for party members, through the Status part of the Menu?

      Just some thought i had... hehehe (I also wonder how difficult it would be to program it like that)

    2. Just for clarification, are there actually supposed to be two distinct investments both called "Eustrin Supplier" in the Ledger, because the Ledger-Common-Event only has support for one, and neither could I find a Switch for the other one in the newest version.

      This mightve just been a case of miscommunication.

    3. There are two suppliers from Eustrin, but there is only supposed to be one "Eustrin Supplier." The one in the ledger is the one you find in the tunnels, whereas the other (unseen) supplier is covered by "Gift to Megail."

      I was thinking this was related to an old bug wherein the gift led to "Eustrin Supplier" appearing inaccurately.

  4. Goddammit, no matter how many times I play it, I can still think that everyone is ignoring a silent player on the chessboard. That being Ivala. I mean with a shard of the Lustlord inside of him and yet the priestesses feel nothing from him. Ivala is basically making Simon into her counterpart as the balance of light and dark mandate it All of this is my own Wild Mass Guessing of course.

  6. Hi I am having an issue with the Magic Order in Ari-Yhilina. I am doing the second test and have completed 3 out of 4. I decided to do all 4 when the option presented itself but am now stuck. The final one is the highly specialised test. I have been to the library and got the knowledge but now in the test all companions either refuse to take it or fail. I assume I am missing something

    1. Afaik, Trin is the only one who can succeed at that test. But Trin can also only be used for a single test, so if you have used her for another, that test is afaik unpassable.

    2. It sounds like your party is tired. Let them rest and Robin/Altina will be able to do more tests. Trin, on the other hand, requires time to pass before she's willing to do another test.

    1. She'd get along quite well with some of them - Wendis was always the more sexually adventurous one in their marriage. On Simon's route there will be another flashback dream that will explore their relationship.

  9. At the end of the cultist boss battle, it says you receive Otherworldly Robes, but I didn't get any. Also, the conversation with the Elected Elder is very long, and you would expect that it would not repeat, but if you talk with the Elder a second time, it repeats the entire sequence. Looking at the code, it appears that the problem is the same both times: it doesn't correctly handle the case where switch 0248 (ORCS CLEARED - ALTINA) is not set.

    1. Ah, so it is! Good catch, these will be fixed as of next version. If you don't talk to the elder repeatedly, that section will complete without causing any problems.

    1. She's not cured, her condition is merely improved. In combat, the difference in health drain is between 20% and 5%.

    2. Gotta remeber Kebab, that without Simon...releasing himself inside her or finally finding that transformation ritual, she's going to suffer from the spreading corruption, which has been within her longer than Carina. Speaking of how long before Carina starts feeling the affects too?

    3. Carina is in substantially better shape because she was "treated" immediately after her corruption, without a Chosen interfering, by Simon with much more experience. So her condition isn't very comparable to Aka's.

  14. Just finished playing TLS for the first time. I must say, your writing is awesome! I especially like Robin's dialogues during Aka's route, she has so many of Simon's characteristics, but has a youthful feminine side of her so that she's not just a total copy. They really are a believable father-daughter pair.

    Minor bug I think? In my playthrough I did Aka's Route first. By the end of Aka's route I used all of Trin's clones, but I did NOT clone the 3 workers in the bar. Later, on Megail's route when I go to the bar and talk to the 3 workers, I get a dialogue with Trin about how she couldn't make anymore clones.

    Sorry if you've answered this before, but are you planning on adding or commissioning CGs? The scenes are super hot already. Just.. you know, additional stimuli always desired. Either way I will keep playing. :-)

    P.S. That Shining Sword in the unpeople mansion was very very sneaky... obviously not talking about the obvious one ;-P

      Workers: Yup, that's a bug. I'll get it fixed by the next version.

      CGs: I'd love to have CGs for the game, but it's difficult to find artists that are both professional and in my price range. I hope to get there one day, but I want to do it in a way that doesn't slow down the current updates.

      Shining Swords: I try to be sneaky sometimes. ^-^

    2. Well like I said, CGs or not, I'll continue to be riveted by the story and characters. I'm sure you'll get there eventually. If I had any artistic talent I'd volunteer.

      It occurred to me that CGs could potentially pay for themselves if their appeal translates into more donations. It's like one of Megail's investments, except instead of investing with ProN, you would invest in ProN! :D (Sorry, I couldn't resist...)

      HAHAHA, like the Atlantic Ocean tries to be wet sometimes. Poor Seil and I were going insane trying to explicate to the other person how we're going to the wrong bar in Lower Town. You're always sneaky, with an extra of sneakiness sometimes (and we love you for that, don't you doubt it for a second).

    3. It's based on their combined relationship points, yes. They aren't required to be all that high, but if either is very unhappy you probably can't get the scene.

      It's seems that you didn't rescue her in Chapter 2. So I think that her presence in your party seems like a bug.

I was wondering if Aka's health quest, which once you complete still has her health fall. not sure if bug or intentional, Also I love your choice in music. XP I simple stock from the RTP but still beautiful to the core. XP Would love to send you mine but thats ya know..self serving and I don't wanna be that annoying guy.       Aka's health is not bugged. You can't make it stop draining, but you can reduce how much it drains per round.

  20. Hi Sierra,
    I'm doing my second run and found a few minor bugs.

    1) In the first encounter with Yarra, if Tal is already fainted, the "Lust Bomb" will hit Simon instead. I also noticed that depending on how Tal is equipped and especially if he guards, he has a good chance of surviving the attack. Her dialogue before the attack implies that it should only hit Tal and always faint him.

    2) At the merchant camp in the meeting hall, the edges of the stage are not solid. Doesn't really break anything, but it lets you walk around/behind the bad guys without triggering the fight because the trigger is on the stairs.

    3) Not sure if this next one can be fixed, because it might be something more fundamental with the battle system. In the fight with the final demon in the Mage Academy, if you select an attack that hits all enemies (Yarra's haze is the only one available at that point I think) the targeting highlighting will show the HP bars of enemies that haven't been summoned yet. It doesn't actually damage them so it ultimately doesn't affect the fight, but it reveals to the player that more enemies are on the way and could ruin the surprise factor.

    Anyways, those were just few things I noticed, none are a big deal. I'm still in Stineford because I'm convinced there is some secret with the two hooded characters hiding in that inaccessible alley behind the magic shop. I suspect they are related to the four thugs in the slum bar, but I haven't figured it out yet, any hints would be appreciated :3

    1. I'm totally unaware about any secret regarding these guys... But it's true that Sierra has managed to hide some stuff before (it took the players three versions to find a hidden SS in a obligatory dungeon), so I can't deny it categorically (although to be honest the only interaction with the four guys in the Slums that I'm able to trigger is a violent confrontation, so maybe you're into something here), I remember to think about that confrontation and have the feeling that I was missing something.

      1) Hmm, good point. The attack now takes less defense into account.

      2) Ah, good catch. Fixed.

      3) Yeah, I'm afraid I don't know of a way to fix this one. The way VX Ace handles summoning/additional enemies is really weak.

      Shady Guys: Nothing sneaky here! They exist because I wanted to have a few details suggesting that not everything in the world has to do with the main characters.

      1) Does that mean it could still hit Simon?

      3) My curiosity made me investigate this and I think I found the solution. In the Enemy HP Bars script, inserting this at line 455 should fix it.

    5. Awesome, I'm glad it worked! I like your solution to the fist bug too, the idea of reviving Tal just to instantly kill him again is very appealing. :P

      I have another question/offer for you. How attached are you to Hilstara's current battler picture (the armored axe soldier)? I'm not really an artist, but I do mess around with Photoshop sometimes, and I made a new battler for her. It's yours if you're interested, but I won't be offended either way.

I do have a samurai add-on pack that the company that made the RPG maker vx ace ^^. so if you have any other other ideas for other countries it might help.     3. Except for using items you got on different routes (since I decided not to separate inventories), which route you do first should not affect anything. I want people to be able to do them in whatever order they like.

      As for Megail, she leaves to do her route very early in Aka's. So if you've done too much, she won't be there anymore.

  26. Just wanted to say that i am a BIG fan of your game. i have been following it since it was called"the last fucklord"ages ago and your story is top notch. it is quite enjoyable and engrossing. i thank you for your hard efforts all these times and hope to see more soon :)

    i found a couple of glitchs btw.
    1st,altina will be in the meeting even if you didnt rescue her,which confused me lol.
    2nd,you cant reach all the slimes in the merchant camp.

    also,please make projects give pron quicker. i used all my money and only got 5000 back since then lol,and the mine guy keeps mocking me when i ask him about my money >_>. speaking of which,it would be nice to give a hint that the pron you give that chick will triple later. since i didnt know that,i only gave her 52.500pron and used the rest. if i had known that,i would have given her all.

    3. 1) The basic ProN system won't change. When you get ProN, assume that's all you'll have for a while.
      2) I intended to imply that they're with Orcent's group, but fair enough. I'll add a mention of them.
      3) There is no single point of no return, but rather the plot advances when you've finished all the required objectives.

      however,i just ran into a game breaking glitch :(. in aka's healing quest,the 2nd step after visiting the library("talk to yarra")doesnt show in the quests log until yarra leaves,and if i reload an earlier save yarra just says her generic comment about needing to prepare. i have literally finished all other quests in her route and am now stuck :(. please solve the glitch with a hotfix or something lol.

      btw,while the basic pron system wont change,it would be nice to give a hint that the pron you give that chick will triple later. since i didnt know that,i only gave her 52.500pron and used the rest. if i had known that,i would have given her all.

    7. Game Breaking? Even when I forgot to talk to Yarra, I was still able to continue the Aka's Condition Quest after Yarra left. I'm not sure if there is any advantage/disadvantage to having the conversation, but it's optional.

      If your earlier save just gives Yarra's generic response, maybe your old save is from before you started the quest and/or talked to Robin?

  27. Is it just me or when playing Megail's route all the enemies tend to attack Varia more than anyone else in the group?

    1. The enemies on Megail's route all have specific targeting rules. So depending on which enemies you tend to kill and what equipment you're using, you really might be seeing more of them attack Varia than normal.

      that said dont know if/and what u have planned as far as relation of TITLE<->Story but i thought of few possibilities, also a perfect way to mix all 3 posibilities the 3 ladies outline for "U" (the END of War scenario) into 1 :D

  29. I feel I owe you an apology. After version 0.10 i was expecting it to go to hell, with Simon taken I thought that the girls would be forced into situations with people outside the group, something that didn't come to pass. I actually skipped version 0.11 because of this misconception, but decided to give 0.12 a go and i want to say that as always I really liked the game and above all else sorry. You do good work and I shouldn't have doubted you.

    Looking forward to the next release. (Still not sure why i'm collecting all this shiny equipment I can't use/sell but... meh)

    1. I'm glad to hear you liked it despite your misgivings! Yarra's route will have more sex than the others, for obvious reasons, but yeah - overall this isn't that sort of game. Two updates from now we get a lot of happy reunion sex. ^-^

Also i wanted to congratulate you in most games when a cut-scene takes over and bad things happen there is always the feeling of "If you'd just let me play it wouldn't have happened", but when Simon is taken my first thought was more along the lines of "we got off easy". So congrats on writing such scenes in a way that even major game companies can't (or choose not) to replicate.

  31. Hello I am having a problem with the game. I am in the secret dungeon while you are in devil's path. I have tried to get out and can't seem to get out. I have tried to get out via recommendation on the wiki. I love the game so far but right now I am stuck.

  33. I'm at the part where you have to go through the routes with the different characters to get the crystals so you can save simon, and i'm kinda stuck on aka's part, and how the fuck do i talk to yarra about her condition before she leaves.

    1. Yarra leaves relatively early during Aka's route, so it's best if you do her quest ASAP, specially the first part (you don't need lo leave the castle for this).
