This update includes a sweeping set of fixes clearing out my list of QoL and other improvements. Of course I'll always have the game available here, but I also want to link the Steam version, because we are getting very close to version 1.0.0.
If you have a Steam account, please consider leaving a review to help prepare the game for the big launch, as this will be a major chance for new players to find the game. I hear from some people who say they'll only review complete games as a matter of principle... if that applies to you, think about what you want to write, because TLS will be leaving Early Access soon!
Of course I'll fix any reported bugs, and Annikath will continue illustrating scenes, but otherwise we should have a smooth path to the big release. Now it's more about timing and launching when I can support the release than any obstacles in development.

The fourth chapter has nearly all of its scenes illustrated, just a few holdouts currently being worked on. Version 1.0.0 will mean the game is feature-complete, but illustrations will need to continue for many months to come, long after I have begun development on other projects.

DeleteI can't believe this is almost done. i stumbled on to this by way of a site i use for some game mods very early in 2015. i completely forgot it had different name when i first got it and it changed the next update. the only game i ever played with pure text. i am gonna resist playing until 1.0. i love this game for the game itself. i would play it even without all the sex, though it would be hard to make a completely SFW version based off the who premise lol. Every time i see a certain characters name i snicker due to the old title reference.

- Okay, I expected some extravagant logic jump or lore breaking for the NTR options, but gotta admit that having Qum give a hug to a lonely ogre is more heartwarming that my expectations ^^ In fact you’re leaving me with quite the conundrum for my next run, do I take the classic option to prove my support for succubus culture, or take the more wholesome option for more time with Qum ?

- Hmm, is that little organ when you beat up Penitents and Unpeople in the Incubus Prison new ? Can’t remember.
- So Tertia overall bust/dialogue is sharper, Elleani have warmer colors, and Simon is hairier ?
- Ahh, finally. Melymin wasn’t in Theltiar but Denmiel. Chapter 4, Gathering the Party. Gotta say that having her literally look down on us fits her character well XDXDXD
- I’m gonna miss the little pixies for OE succubi childrens.
- Changing most Givini women sprites and dialog boxes to increase Luanell's uniqueness is a bold move !!!
- Interesting how the Final Pan Out goes from fade to black to fade to white. I like both versions but it’s a nice way to mark the difference with previous chapter cards. Plus it fits well with the credits ^^
- Time to see the Stineford differences with Robin and Hilstara.
Ah, the camera reseted when Robin arrive, so I can’t see Yarra turning around. Didn’t this bug got mentioned when you did the Stineford overhall ? Huh, thought it was fixed.

- Took me fifty fights or so to trigger a conversation. Is it truly random or linked to certain groups of mobs ? Because if it’s random, the RNG might make us lose some of the discussion.
- See, that’s what I don’t get.
Opening the last barrier blocking the Succubus Tower make it clear that Hilstara knows she’s dealing with succubi, which probably comes from Simon catching her up hen we meet her the first time, and is once more confirmed when Hilstara ask Yarra to focus on enemies with lust weaknesses.
But when Aka ask if touching the crystal is dangerous and Yarra answers that they have ways of removing it, Hilstara’s clueless, which along with Simon’s warning of being too open with her and Yarra whining of her being in the way implies that she’s unaware.
Either it’s an inconsistency, or Yarra is hinting at Simon’s power, but I think it could be better clarified either way.
- Wait, I’m in the smithy, is that…. A LEGENDARY BROOM ?!!! Right at our fingertips too, not blocked by a pesky invisible wall or a recalcitrant NPC ?!!! Well, I know now where we’ll acquire Broom-chan ^^
A few fixes :
Delete- Camera doesn't show Yarra during Robin introduction (Chapter 1 Stineford)
- Topless Simon dialog box and bust works, but he’s still clothed in the pause menu and backlog (Simon’s path). The same applies to beaten up Simon, the backlog and pause menu don’t follow the changes (Incubus Prison).
- If the little organ is meant to be used for every fight as a replacement of the classic victory music, it is missing for early enemies (Incubus Prison).
- Givini ‘afro’ sprites have a ponytail dialog box (Postgame and retroactive).
- Kalant, Geoff and Sho are missing from the portraits and Zelica memorial version is inactive. Possible solution : put together both Janine and Wendis portraits and add Kalant to the Chosen. Leave room for Geoff and Sho. A memorial option for Geoff would be nice (Postgame and retroactive).
- Hilstara still have her final helmet on the pause menu and party formation sprite (Postgame).
- The booze from Erosia have an invisible orc explaining it’s good stuff (Postgame).
- Tertia has her bust fully clothed in the Garden of Steam bathhouse instead of the nude version (Postgame).

Perhaps new to you, but I made a number of changes to the Incubus Prison a while back to emphasize the progression.

To be perfectly honest, I don't remember much about this and don't want to replay yet another section. I am stretched very thin these days.

Specific mobs, no randomness.

You mean his square profile picture? Yeah, guess that wouldn't change. This wouldn't be impossible to change, but I'll have to look into it.

Yeah, I guess that should change.
FYI, there's a command specifically to change Hilstara back into her normal outfit, but it only runs when you start the postgame, it won't magically change current saves.

ReplyDeletebattle.You need 4 zirantra points to suceed and to not let faction leader get killed.
so If you support OZL in zirantra you miss out on infrastructure porject. which gives you +1 score in final battle calcualation. Which now means that if you whant to pass that check you need +70 zirantra check instead of much easyer 50-69 one. from narative perspective i really like these one whille OZL has been helping you more for most of game now in end game there policys make it so that They need much more help then NUP route to succeed. Problem is that whille these check is Techichly possible to pass way it is possibble is a little problematic.
Only way OZL route can pass 70 check is IF Tanurak
Strikes succeds and T - Zirantia gets turnd on. Reason for these is becouse Investment of Mitigation of Tanurak's attack on Zirantia gives + 5 zirantra and T - Zirantia ON gives you plus 3 points instead of one. without these Maximum points that OZL can theoreticly get IF you Get every ziranta point is 68. So curently only way to succed with OZL is if zirantra gets devastaded during the war and then we pay for its restoration. from naratvie standpoint zirantra should much more easly be passing that final check if it did not get destroyed or these is how i think about it.
another small thing is for finnal Vhala quest to get best aram results you need 50 points out of 51 and to get that you must let your old friend get raped. becouse it give you 2 points needed for it. (frankly geting aram over 40 is already a miracle). and that 1 moving point comes from leting aram geting devastated and then rebuilding it in thrid arclent war

Deleteit happens becouse of Zirantia Infrastructure Improvement.
OZL dose not get it which means that it Technicaly saves 1.5mil pron(slums 2mil vs 1 mil + 2.5 infrastructure). it dose miss out on a lot of things becouse of it, but main problem happens in last battle where Zirantia Infrastructure Improvement gets checkd becouse it is one of 2 investement that gets checkd. Are we talking about the investment attached to switch 3806? Looking at the logic, it seems to me like the investment is only checked if the NUP is in charge, otherwise you automatically get the +1. If you mean something else, please be more specific.
Deletei was cheking it from wiki page. dont really know how to check swiches. wiki page dose not say anything about aditional +1 if NUP is not in charge. so wiki page may be wrong.
DeleteIn that case, I think the wiki is likely wrong, so it would be great if you or someone could fix it. NUP has +1 with the investment and -1 without it, while OZL gets +1 no matter what.

DeleteHi Sierra, I've run into a bug during Yarra's route at the end of day 2. When I select the sparkle option "Later" the game hangs, The sparkle does not dissapear (it does when I select the "sleep" option) and I lose the ability to move the character at all.) hope you can reproduce and fix this :)
