TLS 0.80.0 Released - The Postgame Begins!

New update for supporters on Patreon or SubscribeStarVersion history updated, you know what to do, etc.


TLS 0.80.0

 - The world has been fully updated for the postgame. This is the last major content update!

 - The SFW toggle has been fixed and restored, giving you the option to pixelate all NSFW images, including sprites, portraits, and battlers.

 - All remaining battle busts are complete: Sho, Antarion, Doom King (two versions!), Prison Simon, Orcent, Impaler, Grubbak, Implevon, Ralke, Balia's quest orcs (x4)

 - 16 new sex scenes

 - 4 new illustrated scenes: Yarra + Fuani, Orilise + Lynine, Reunited, and Wendis + Wynn


This was a beast of an update, and it's going to be a beast to finish as well. We're going to handle this like the final battle: the update will remain supporter-only for an unknown amount of time. Not solely for bugfixing, but also because I will be taking suggestions from players for adding even more content to the postgame. This is the end of a very long game, after all, it should be rewarding.

So I don't have a public release date, but I do promise to keep everyone here updated as the game iterates. Please look forward to it!

  4. Wow it all seems so fast... Too fast.
    Siggh, but the world continue to turn no matter how conflicted I am about this chapter of my life closing, so gotta tought it up !!!

    As for additions.... I can only think of fixing old times bugs like Glass Lady, or reworking Hilstara introduction, that kind of thing. Since I don't have Patreon access, I have no idea how many new variables the postgame content introduced, or even how many years passed.

    While waiting for the obligatory 8 months of testing, I'll try to find some ideas that doesn't involve platypus or penguins XDXDXD

  6. This game has one of the best stories of any game I've played. Congratulations on finishing it! As for postgame content, I actually do have some ideas if they haven't been mentioned already:

    I think it'd be cool to experience Simon's past. Maybe play through at least part of the Incubus King's initial invasion of Arclant when Simon was a young man fighting in that war. There could be major events that helped shape Simon into the man we meet at the start of the game.

    If you don't want to do that, you could do other events instead: A young Simon first meeting Wendis and Wynn. Falling in love, marrying etc.

    Heck, you could even have a whole questline of younger Simon journeying through the Renthor Wilds looking for something to fight the Incubus King's.

    You could also do this kind of thing for any number of Harem Members: Pivitol points in their lives before meeting Simon. Their "Origin stories" as it were.

    Using Yarra as an example: it'd be her last days serving in the IK's Succubus Corps culminating in a huge gauntlet to escape the IK's domain.

    For Riala and Esthera it can be how they found their respective shards etc. You could even do this with Orcent.

    1. That would be great, but I'm not sure how it would be introduced.
      Maybe a sparkle book at the base from which to choose which story to play ?

    2. I was actually thinking of something along the line of a triggered scene that would happen when you interact with someone at the HQ. Then when the story starts and you're taken to the first scene, there's a crystal that lets you pause the story at any time if you want to go back to free roam.

      Another option for that would be the "sparkle book" idea. Maybe have a scene with Simon alone at a desk, deciding to write a personal memoir, not for public consumption, but for his harem to read. While he's writing, Simon can remanence about a particular memory while serving in the first war with the Incubus King and that would trigger the playable flashback.

      As for the rest of the Harem, maybe after completing Simon's backstory, he'd get the idea to ask the rest of the Harem about their pasts and write it in the book, thus unlocking the rest of the playable scenes.

    3. Glad to see the enthusiasm, but I don't know how likely extensive backstories are. Especially in game form, I think prequels can feel less satisfying than one might hope. That said, I did write "War of Lust" as a short story of Simon before the game and it's available free at the various archives of my fiction.

  7. The idea of StormStrike reminded me, how about having a little synopsis of the characters past in the status section in the pause menu, instead of exp, stats and equipment.
    And it would change when important events happens to them.

    1. The idea is viable in theory, but I'd need to remodel the character menu and then write a ton of little descriptions!
